Hollow Road respects the intellectual property rights of others. The app's stories, narration, and audio are original work produced by Chillingworth Labs, and its one adapted arc draws on Homer's Odyssey, which is in the public domain. If you believe something in the app or on this site infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, you can reach our designated agent below.

Sending a notice

To be effective under the DMCA, a notice needs to include substantially all of the following. If something is missing we may come back to you for it, which slows everything down.

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
• Identification of the material you believe is infringing, described well enough that we can actually find it — for something in the app, name the adventure and the scene or audio cue; for this site, give the URL.
• Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

We will look into any complete notice promptly and remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid one. If material of yours is ever removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent address and we will handle it under the procedure in § 512(g).

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please consider carefully, and talk to an attorney if that would help, before sending a notice.

A note on what we host

Hollow Road has no accounts and no user uploads: every story and every piece of audio in the app is ours, shipped inside the app itself. There is no user-generated content for anyone else's work to end up in. We publish this page anyway, because the agent is registered and the address should be easy to find.
